Emmaline is an Intellectual Property and Commercialization Intern at LSU Innovation and Technology Commercialization, majoring in Chemical Engineering and Entrepreneurship. She is both a Stamps Scholar, a LaSalle Scholar and participates in the LSU Ogden Honors College. Prior to LSU, Emmaline worked with her dad to design a mobile gaming platform.
Dr. Melvin leads the Melvin Research Group at LSU which develops on new tools and technologies to quantify and characterize complex biological systems, with an interdisciplinary approach combining chemical and biomedical engineering with chemical biology, biochemistry, biophysics, cell biology, and cancer biology.
